Is it safe to use the ioShutter Camera Remote in an Open-Photo-Booth setting?
Okay, before I start preaching about the what to use in your photography photo booth setup, let me introduce you to the ioShutter Camera Remote which you could use with equipment (dslr camera, iPhone, iPad, or iPod) you might already have.
At the Photojojo store, you can find some cool and flashy thing for your photography need. One thing I found and thought was cute is the ioShutter camera remote cord. However, using cables, wires, and other connects that could interfere with the flow of traffic, is a total no no!
Well, it really depends on where and how you setup your photo-booth stand. Check this out! Here is the ioShutter Camera Remote cable.
You connect this remote and cable to your camera (iPad, iPod, or iPhone) and bang, your done. Now the neat thing about this is it opens up 6 different modes for you to shoot. You can shoot standard trigger, motion trigger, time-lapse, timer, sound trigger, and bulb. WOW! This is really cool.
The only freakin' thing you need to do is download the app, connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPad to your dslr camera (not sure about point & shoot) and you'll be on your happy way of doing this like some of the pro or semi pros!
The sound trigger is really good, especially if you, the photographer, would like to get into the shot. (I would love to try this. I mean I do have the ML thingy for my Nikon D7000, you can click here for that. I also have an iPad and the Remote one app, you can read that here. Now, this ioShutter Camera Remote offers the same and more.
The motion trigger is what we all need in our house to see who is moving around stealing stuff or you can finally capture that darn ghost underneath your bed or in your closet... [YIKES!]
The time lapse is super easy to do (well according to Photojojo) and using the timer and bulb modes. I know the 4th of July is right around the corner. I would love to see images when someone connecting, using and capturing fireworks using their iPhone, ioShutter, and their DSLR camera. The Photojojo stated you will get crisp night shots every time.
